Housing and Dining Services funds this program to encourage faculty involvement in the residence halls. Take a professor with you for a meal in one of the dining centers. Stop by the Derby Academic Resource Center or the Academic Resource Center of Kramer and complete a faculty meal request form or click here to complete an on-line requeste http://housing.k-state.edu/arc/foodforthought.php. It will take at least one day to process and prepare a meal pass for you.

Pop into the Derby Academic Resouce Center any Monday for some free popcorn. While you are there, check out the career corner library which contains many books and resources to help you with your job search. These books can be checked out and taken home with you.
Pop into the Academic Resource Center of Kramer any Wednesday and enjoy some popcorn. While snacking, why not ask the ARA what the ARCK has to offer.

Staff
The centers are staffed by academic resource assistants (ARAs). These student leaders are available to monitor and help with your academic concerns. Feel free to stop in or call if they can help in any way.
Study and Meeting Space
Quiet rooms can be found at both of the centers for individual or group study sessions. Bring your K-State ID to the center and check out a key. These rooms can also be reserved by residents for meetings. Space reservation requests can be made at the Derby Acadmic Resource Center or by completing the form at the following link http://housing.k-state.edu/arc/roomrequest.php. All requests are subject to approval and should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Computer Labs
The centers each have a computer lab available for students living on campus. A K-State ID is required to check out a lab key. Laser printing cost $.05 per page. Photocopies cost $.10 per page.
Free Tutoring
Tutoring is available for a variety of subjects. Sessions vary in size and are open to all students. There is no need to make an appointment…stop on by!
