Some of our best intentions to try to cut down on the amount of calories we are consuming can be “sabotaged” by “hidden calories” in some condiments, beverages, and toppings. Just being aware of some of these items can go along way in helping you achieve your personal dietary goals. By reducing your serving size of these items, substituting a lower-fat alternative, or mixing whole or chocolate milk with skim to create a 2% version of milk, you can significantly lower your daily caloric intake.
