BAKING POWDER BISCUITS
12 BISCUITS


3 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Non Fat Dry Milk Solids

Blend in mixing bowl.

1/4 Cup + 3 Tablespoons Shortening

Add. Cut in with two knives or pastry knife until mixture resembles coarse oatmeal.

1 Cup + 3 Tablespoons Water

Add. Mix until dry ingredients are moistened. Place on lightly floured countertop. Knead until smooth. Roll or pat to 3/4 inch thickness. Cut with floured biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes or until golden brown on top and bottom.
