Help Desk Coordinator Position Description
The department of Housing and Dining Services is searching for student application developers for its Web Team. Applicants should have experience programming in PHP or VB.Net. , a desire to learn and enjoy a challenge. Preference is given to applicants who have worked with Linux.
Applicants must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. Preference is given to applicants who are available from 8 am to noon.
Preference is given to undergraduate students who are computer science or MIS majors, but undergraduate students majoring in other areas with experience in the technologies mentioned above are encouraged to apply.
Becoming a member of the HDS Web Team allows you to use your creativity and knowledge while gaining valuable experience programming web applications used by HDS staff and residents.
Housing and Dining Services offers flexible hours within a team environment. Pay is $8.00 per hour and work study is not required.

Eligible candidates should be able to work at least 12 hours per week, have some computer repair and troubleshooting experience, above average communication and customer service skills, and a desire to learn and enhance your abilities. Preference is given to undergraduate students who are MIS or Computer Science majors. Undergraduate students in other areas with expierence are encouraged to apply. Work study is not required.
